In the event of a new discovery or newly desired project outcome presents itself as either a necessity or the client elects to have an alteration to the original scope performed, a separate (change order) invoice will be generated, encompassing both the labor and materials involved. Change orders also pertain to new design specifications as the project proceeds that significantly alters the original scope and process stated herein. The above stated price and terms are fixed and only to be altered with an agreed change order. In the event of a change order, discussed and agreed upon costs will be adjusted and billed accordingly; change order payments are due immediately after agreement of cost. Change order invoices will be sent out after close of business day of agreement. Please note that change orders mean more work, more work means more time, more time means more cost to the bottom line. Please note: in the event of delays occurring due to the permitting process and scheduling appointments for inspection, Fournier Remodeling Reserves the right to take other work until the permit and jobsite has been approved for the next stage of work. Fournier Remodeling makes no promises on timelines for inspections or subsequent delays in the project incurred from inspection appointments. If delays up to two days from projected timeline occur, due to inspection times, weekly invoices are still in effect and are expected to be paid on the schedule set forth in this contract. In the event that production time is longer than estimated and agreed upon at the outset of the job, (for original scope and not to include the additional time for a change order or inspection delays) Fournier Remodeling will see the job through until completion, with the exception of new material costs to be discussed with and paid by the homeowner / client.
